Low Costs
Biblionef Netherlands does everything in its power to keep the costs of it’s organization as low as possible, to enable the majority of the incoming funds to be used for the pleasure of reading for the children in underdeveloped areas. Biblionef has the “Declaration of no Objection”  from the Central Fundraising Agency, a quality mark of this Agency for the smaller organizations. This quality mark requires that a minimum of 75% of the incoming funds should be spend on the aim of the organization.

Biblionef is able to minimize it’s costs by:

  • making use of as many volunteers as possible
  • buying the children’s books with big discounts and even obtaining the books  free of charge
  • have the transport of the bigger parties of books sponsored or finding the cheapest way of transport
  • our office facilities in the Royal Library are free of charge and above all Biblionef may make use of many of the services and facilities of the Royal Library free of charge as well
  • much of our promotions material is sponsored partly by professional companies
