"HELLO WORLD" CHILDRENS BOOK WEEK

The 58th edition of the Childrens Book Week takes place on Wednesday 3rd to Saturday 13th October 2012.  The theme is Hello World!- Meet other cultures through stories.  Tosca Menten wrote the Childrens Book Week gift for 2012.

Biblionef Nederland Childrens Book Week 2012 is a part of the "The World Reads" campaign.  In the Netherlands you often see bookstores and libraries around.  Yet around the world there are millions of children who learn to read using just a blackboard, chalk and maybe an old newspaper. But to stimulate their imagination and enjoy learning, children need more than that- great books to get lost in.
