INDIA/BOOKS FOR SOUTHERN INDIA
Near the village of Matagondapali, more than an hour's drive from Bangalor (Southern India) lies the Matagondapali Model School. It is a large education and sports complex, set up for the very poorest children of Southern India. This school uses an educational system focusing on the child itself. The children of this school are very eager to learn and fond of reading. The large box with books from Biblionef was therefore very welcome.
Books to the dormitory
One of our contacts was present when the children were allowed to unpack the boxes. Teachers, Teacher, are these beautiful books for us? Can we keep them so that I can read them all? All new, so beautiful'. The children wanted to start reading straightaway, but first the school's stamp had to be put in. After that the books were even allowed to be taken into the dormitory! Fantastic!
